“Good habits formed at youth make all the difference.” – Aristotle
I wasn’t born with “Good Habits”- were you?
Even if we used to be incredible at something and no longer are..all of our abilities and inclinations change as we change. That’s good and NORMAL!
As we survey our lives, we might wish we had done things differently…and started a long time ago. This can get some of us feeling pretty down.
Here’s the good news: There’s still time!
If people are telling you you should do things differently, you may or may not choose to listen. Remember this Joumor Principle: It’s only a problem if it’s a problem.
However, if you ascertain that some change would be nice, it’s important to realize these 3 things:
1. It takes an average of 66 days to build or change a habit sustainably.
2. There is no 100%. You can improve and improve but perfection (SORRY! 🙂 doesn’t exist.
3. Increments, baby. Don’t throw the baby out with that cold turkey.
In Joumor we set ourselves up to win. Knowing and accepting that the road to your desired habit will be slow and windy, enjoying that, and giving your hat a jaunty toss as you set forth will make the entire stroll that much more pleasurable…and successful.
To your habitual success!
